CMLL Sin Salida results (Jan. 2, 2026): Robin loses mask, NJPW Strong tag champs retain, & more!

CMLL continued the recent New Year’s tradition for Sin Salida from Arena Mexico on Friday night (Jan. 2, 2026). The event is headlined by a huge cage match. Sixteen wrestlers enter. One man loses his mask or his hair, as appropriate.

The Sin Salida finish came to Robin and Calavera Jr. I. Calavera trapped Robin in an armlock for the submission victory. Robin removed his mask to reveal his name, Robin Ivan Alvarado Dominguez. Enjoy the highlight package.

In the semi main, Mistico, Mascara Dorada, & Atlantis Jr. prevailed over Soberano Jr., Volador Jr., & Barbaro Cavernario in trios action. The stars unleashed plenty of flashy maneuvers. The tecnicos took the third fall for victory. Mascara Dorada landed a shooting star press on Volador, and Mistico secured La Mistica submission on Soberano for the double finish.

The World Class Wrecking Crew entered enemy territory to challenge Los Hermanos Chavez for the NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Team Championship. WCWC are former champions with sweet nicknames (Jorel Nelson as “Superman’s Daddy” and Royce Isaacs as “Mile High Samurai”).

The champs handled business in a tough fight. Angel de Oro cleared out Isaacs on a moonsault outside. Niebla Roja secured the win with a campana submission on Nelson.

Titan submit Yutani in a Lightning Match. The highlight reel was fire with a Styles Clash on stage, numerous suicide dives, a variety of splashes, wicked striking offense, and a handful of near falls. On the finish, Titan connected on a flying stomp. He went for a stack pin. Yutani kicked out, so Titan transitioned to the Sharpshooter submission. Yutunai was unable to reach the ropes as Titan bridged back to crank the hold. Yutani tapped out.

In the opener, Hijo del Pantera & Valiente Jr. won the tag team battle over Infarto & Troglodita in a clean sweep. After a Voltron super avalanche rana, Pantera pinned Troglodita off a swan dive. A springboard Meteora from Valiente cleared the way for a flying splash from Pantera to finish Infarto.
