WWE Raw preview (Sept. 29, 2025): The Usos’ reunion isn’t exactly going as planned

Raw airs tonight (Sept. 29) with a live show from Lenovo Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. This is the second episode of Raw during the three week build to Crown Jewel, which takes place on October 11. Tonight’s episode of Raw has a special start time of 7 pm ET on Netflix.

The Usos’ reunion isn’t exactly going as planned

The Usos reunited for a match at Wrestlepalooza against Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, but it didn’t go well for the babyfaces. LA Knight was appointed the special guest referee, and his ongoing issues with Jey played a role in The Brons scoring the win.

Tonight on Raw, Jimmy and Jey have another chance to remind The Vision why they are the greatest team in WWE history, because the two teams will go at it in a Tornado match. That means all four men are legal at the same time.

Jimmy knows something is different about Jey, who is now barking orders like he is the Tribal Chief. Jey isn’t happy that Jimmy is defending LA Knight; he’s getting awfully close to blaming The Usos’ struggles on Jimmy’s poor judgment. Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes tried to talk some sense into Jey last week, but it may be too late to prevent his turn to the dark side.

Can Jey and Jimmy get on the same page to get their win back on The Vision in this tornado match, or will things go to hell again once LA Knight inevitably gets involved? Tune into Raw to find out.

The rest of the card

Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio puts his gold on the line tonight against Rusev. Will Mysterio’s cowardly ways finally come back to bite him in the ass if he needs The Judgment Day’s help but they aren’t so sure about bailing him out? Can Dirty Dom rely on Los Americanos to do his dirty work again, or will Rusev crush them all?

Bayley’s return to the ring was a success last week when she beat Roxanne Perez. She will try to keep that momentum going tonight in a singles match against another Judgment Day member, Raquel Rodriguez. Who knows which side of Bayley’s split personality Lyra Valkyria will have to deal with if she decides to be in her corner again tonight.

IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley are set to appear on Raw tonight, after Asuka and Kairi Sane laid them out to end last week’s episode. What does IYO have to say after these women she considered to be family turned their backs on her last week? Will SKY and Ripley join forces to handle this problem, or will they each do things their own way?

Other stuff to keep an eye on

World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has a match scheduled against WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel. Last week, Seth was able to stay focused on his goal of winning the Crown Jewel championship, but will CM Punk and AJ Lee get back in his face tonight to remind him that they aren’t going away? Is it time for Lee to issue a challenge for Becky Lynch’s women’s Intercontinental championship?

Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer will face WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton at Crown Jewel. Will Tiffy Time come to Raw tonight to remind Vaquer and everyone else that she is undefeated in 2025 and should be favored to win the Crown Jewel championship, or is Stratton too busy trying to figure out how the referee botched the end of her triple threat match on SmackDown last week?

– Penta and the War Raiders make for a pretty damn good team. Will they continue to stick together after beating Grayson Waller and New Day last week?

– Maxxine Dupri told GM Adam Pearce that she wants to get back in the ring for a match in this stacked women’s division. Can Pearce find an opponent on the roster who is at Maxxine’s level, or will she be a massive underdog no matter who he selects?

– AJ Styles and Dragon Lee are sick of El Grande Americano, and want a tag team match against any two of Los Americanos. Do the babyfaces plan to rip off one of those masks to expose who it is underneath?

– Will WWE hype up GUNTHER’s return with video package teases, or will he just show up unannounced on Raw one of these weeks?

– Where the f*** is Sheamus?

What will you be looking for on Raw?
