You can get an answer to almost any church leadership question in seconds. Open an AI tool. Type a prompt. Push a button. A response appears.

I use AI. I see its value. But the more information we can generate, the more I appreciate something that cannot be reduced to a prompt: a conversation with someone who has been there.

Church leadership is personal. The decisions involve people we love, congregations we serve, and communities we hope to reach. Sometimes we need information. Often, we also need someone who understands why the question is keeping us awake.

That is why I am inviting you to Church Answers Membership.

Learn from people who have been there

Our membership community brings you into ongoing, live interaction with 1,800 other church leaders. These are people serving churches, navigating change, encouraging volunteers, welcoming guests, and working through the challenges you face.

You can learn from their experiences. Hear their stories. Ask follow-up questions. Discover what happened six months after they tried something new.

Consider a church trying to help guests return. A list of suggestions can be useful. But imagine hearing from a church leader who changed the follow-up process, discovered an unexpected problem, adjusted the approach, and saw more guests connect.

You can ask what they changed. You can ask what they would do differently. You can explain how your church differs from theirs and continue the conversation.

That is the value of lived experience. You hear the reasoning, the setbacks, and the lessons behind the recommendation. You gain perspective you can prayerfully consider in your own setting.

Find a place to speak honestly

Pastors and other church leaders carry questions they cannot easily discuss in public. They may need help thinking through a difficult meeting, a discouraged volunteer team, or a change the congregation is struggling to understand.

Church Answers Membership provides a protected and collegial environment for those conversations. Our community requires member access and is moderated. The purpose is to help one another serve churches faithfully.

You can ask an honest question without turning it into a public social media debate. You can acknowledge uncertainty. You can seek perspective from people who understand the responsibilities of ministry.

And you can contribute.

Your church does not have to be large for your experience to matter. Something you learned while leading ten volunteers may help someone leading fifty. A small step your congregation took may encourage another church to take its first step.

Share your own experiences. Tell us what you are learning. Someone else may need the encouragement you can offer today.

Go deeper through live conversations and research

Membership also includes live office hours with me or Sam. These gatherings give members opportunities to bring ministry questions into a live conversation and learn as we work through issues together.

Sometimes another leader asks the very question you have been considering. Sometimes their question helps you recognize an issue you need to address.

You also receive access to articles behind our paywall with deep research and insights. We want to help you understand developments affecting churches and consider what they mean for your congregation.

The community, office hours, and articles work together. Read something that challenges your thinking. Discuss it with other leaders. Bring your questions to office hours. Return to the community as you take your next steps.

Join an analog community in an AI world

Our community meets online, but its heartbeat is deeply human. That is what I mean by an analog community: real people sharing real experiences through ongoing relationships.

Rather than pushing a button that gives you pre-packaged AI content, you can enter a conversation. You can be heard. You can hear someone else’s story and share your own.

I believe this is the most dynamic church leadership community in the world. I want you to experience it.

For only $9.97 per month, Church Answers Membership includes the membership community, live office hours with me or Sam, and our paywall articles with deep research and insights.

Join Church Answers Membership today. Bring your questions, your stories, and your desire to serve your church. We would love to welcome you.
