Didi-Omah: Nigeria Is A Country That Doesn't Read

Most people want their names to be known, they just want to be famous by all means. But being famous without a positive impact to the society, to people's lives is just making noises.

There are noises everywhere and only few are voices — I am serious, I never get to the press releases or blogs by trying to use social media in creating noises. By God's grace and help, I first started as a blogger in 2018 after written my SSCE WAEC; during my one year industrial training — I partnered with 2Star Technology, and we redeveloped Doactalk, from a blog to a content management hub, that was in 2022.

In 2023, Doactalk launches content aggregation service into its system; then by February 2024, name changed to doacWeb. Gradually press releases started talking about it, the blogs carried it along. It was because of the populace we made when blogging as Doactalk. Because we partnered with Phoenix Browser and others — to showcase our blog posts on their newsfeed. It is better to be a voice out there that people will hold to, than just a noise that echoes today and tomorrow no trace.

Executive, there is no product in the market that is owned or produced by Berkshire Hathaway; BlackRock; Ark Invest; doac, Invest.; Vanguard Group — but these companies are wealthy and powerful financially and economically. Yet, they owns no products in the market. It is not necessarily that you must manufacture a product, you can render services that exceed your competitors.

Okay, doac Invest., is an organisation that focus on investments and industries — and you think these services need production or put a product in the market. No, just hold investments in fair companies at good rates, then if possible own industries at profitable mark-up. I think we are totally suffering not because we don't have education but because Nigeria is a country that does not read.

Don't get me wrong, Executive, Nigeria is a country that doesn't read. We have so many people that hates reading; I will share this with you, if you want to hide the secret to make wealth, you want to hide the path of power, you want to hide the knowledge that makes giants — put it in books. If you want to hide anything from a black man, write it in a book. He will not open that book till he dies! I know I am a black man, I tell you the truth!

Everyone wants to make money but not same everyone wants to study what it takes to get the money. Youths are after videos, short videos — I keep saying that the Bible is the only authority over my life — I am not a pastor; I am a businessman, industrialist, investor, and a Christian. I am proud of that. Most Christians have not study the Bible, they have it, they are waiting to hear what the pastor will say on the altar! Then you will be hearing: “My Daddy said", "My Pastor told us this in the Bible" — but what did the Bible teach you about.

My people are destroyed because they lack Knowledge; Study to show yourself approved unto God; Have you not read that it is written; — all these phrases I got them from the Bible. You will not hear, have you not listened or watched — the Bible is a book, so most knowledge are embedded in books as of the old and it is till relevant till date. I don't have anything to offer, then think — as a man thinks so he is. I never come up establishing doac Invest., by assumption; it was driven by knowledge I got from Dangote Group, then I did researches to see how those outside Nigeria did theirs.

Then I was exposed to BlackRock Inc, Berkshire Hathaway, Vanguard Group, and many more. I was impressed, and I said to myself, doac Invest., is the new leviathan of investments and industries. So you see, we are hearing doacWeb today in 180 territories and countries — but only few know doac Invest., because when the time is right; doac Invest., will be the talk of media and news. We must value reading if we want to be leading from today and ever. 

Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Bishop David Oyedepo, Aliko Dangote, Myself, Tim Cook, Donald John Trump, and others — still reads.... So why should the young people not read. The Holy Scriptures taught us to follow the ancient paths that makes others successful in the way of the Lord. There is no new tree without the seed of the old tree, so the seed of every new plant comes from an existing plant. That's why I keep studying those before me, that have obtained the same result I desired, and I follow their paths with faith and patience.
