You Want To Hold Press Conference In Courtroom? It’s Strange To Me, I Haven’t Seen It Before -Lawyer Tells Sowore

A video which captured the moment a Senior Advocate of Nigeria was challenging Nigerian activist and former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore inside a courtroom has surfaced online.

Omoyele Sowore made the video available on his official X account on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.

In the video, the lawyer was seen telling the human rights activist not to hold a press conference inside the courtroom. He asked Omoyele Sowore and his team to go outside and conduct their press conference.

The lawyer stated that he has been practicing for almost three decades and he has not seen a press conference being done inside the court.

The lawyer said that;

“This is supposed to be done outside and not in a court room. You want to have a press conference in the courtroom? it is strange to me. I have practiced for almost 3 decades and I have never seen it. You don’t do that in the court room, this is not a press centre”…..See More
