PROPHET DANIEL WHYTE III, WHO TOLD KING CHARLES III TO FIRE THE ARCHBISHOP OF CANTERBURY, JUSTIN WELBY, ON OCTOBER 28TH, 2024 (AND HE WAS FIRED 14 DAYS LATER NOVEMBER 12TH, 2024), SAYS WELBY OUGHT NOT TO EVER DAWN THE SACRED DESK OF GOD AGAIN IN LIGHT OF HIS DEVILISH FAREWELL SPEECH, WHICH PROVED WELBY DID NOT RESIGN ON HIS OWN VOLITION; HE WAS FIRED BY THE KING AND THE KING’S PEOPLE! BY THE WAY, THIS IS ONE OF THOSE RARE POSITIONS THAT IS A LIFETIME APPOINTMENT UNTIL DEATH. JUSTIN WELBY SAID IN HIS SPEECH, “HIS HEAD HAD TO ROLL!”

Two weeks before Christmas is normally one of the busiest times of the year for the Archbishop of Canterbury, spent preparing his sermon for Christmas morning service at Canterbury Cathedral in London that makes the news on British television on Dec. 25.

But this is not a normal Christmas season for outgoing Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, who has entered an unaccustomed period of silence after first stepping down because of the Church of England’s handling of one of its worst abuse scandals, followed by his disastrous valedictory address in the House of Lords last week.

It seems we will hear no more from Welby before he officially leaves his post on Jan. 6 — besides giving up his Christmas sermon, he will not deliver his usual televised New Year’s Day message, the BBC has confirmed. Instead, officials at Lambeth Palace said, this year he will spend the holidays privately with his family.

Welby’s reputation was badly tarnished by the Makin Review, an independent investigation of the church’s response to allegations of abuse against John Smyth, a prominent layman who ran summer camps in England and Zimbabwe.

After the report appeared in early November, confirming that Welby had been slow to isolate a suspected abuser, Welby announced he would resign his post a year before he turned 70, when Archbishops of Canterbury traditionally quit.

An ex officio member of the British Parliament’s House of Lords, Welby rose to make his farewell remarks Thursday during a debate on housing and homelessness — issues on which he has commented many times during his episcopacy.

His speech did eventually address those topics, but not initially. Instead, Welby began by seeming to make light of his resignation and the serious safeguarding failures detailed in the Makin Review. After joking about a 14th-century predecessor who was beheaded, Welby suggested, “If you pity anyone, pity my poor diary secretary, who has seen weeks and months of work disappear in a puff of a resignation announcement.” He went on to thank fellow members of the Lords for their supportive messages over the past few weeks.

While some peers and the fellow Church of England bishops seated behind Welby on the parliamentary benches appeared to be amused, the bishop of London, Dame Sarah Mullally, appeared to be mortified, holding her hand across her face. The squirm of embarrassment was also felt by viewers at home and by commentators.

One of Smyth’s victims told The Guardian that he was appalled by Welby’s speech, saying, “I have never come across anyone so tone-deaf.”

The bishops who oversee anti-abuse efforts — Joanne Grenfell, Julie Conalty and Robert Springett — released a letter sent to survivors and their advocates the day after the speech, responding to a rash of emails expressing anger about Welby’s speech.

“Both in content and delivery, the speech was utterly insensitive, lacked any focus on victims and survivors of abuse, especially those affected by John Smyth, and made light of the events surrounding the Archbishop’s resignation,” they wrote. “It was mistaken and wrong. We acknowledge and deeply regret that this has caused further harm to you in an already distressing situation.”

Welby issued a mea culpa the same day, expressing regret at sins of commission and omission. “I understand that my words – the things that I said, and those I omitted to say – have caused further distress for those who were traumatised, and continue to be harmed, by John Smyth’s heinous abuse and by the far-reaching effects of other perpetrators of abuse,” he said in a statement.

“It did not intend to overlook the experience of survivors or to make light of the situation – and I am very sorry for having done so. It remains the case that I take both personal and institutional responsibility for the long and retraumatizing period after 2013, and the harm that this has caused survivors.

“I continue to feel a profound sense of shame at the Church of England’s historic safeguarding failures.”

The Archbishop of Canterbury has sat in the House of Lords dating back to the 14th century. Since 1847, 25 fellow bishops have been granted seats in Parliament’s upper chamber, known as the Lords Spiritual: the archbishops of Canterbury and York, and the bishops of Durham, London and Winchester, plus the 21 longest-serving bishops in other dioceses.

The Lords Spiritual can vote, speak in debates and scrutinize legislation, but their position in Parliament is chiefly a reminder that the Church of England remains fully entwined with the establishment: Welby, as Archbishop of Canterbury, crowned King Charles III at his 2023 coronation.

Welby’s final speech may well boost the cause of those who wish to see bishops removed from the House of Lords, and while it has become a convention for the outgoing Archbishop of Canterbury to be given a peerage, enabling them to continue to sit in the Lords after retirement, it seems unlikely that Welby will be given the honor.

Meanwhile, the Church of England and the wider Anglican Communion are focused on the search for Welby’s successor. A protracted process, likely to take at least six months, begins with the Crown Nominations Commission, which makes a recommendation to the prime minister, who then passes it to the king, who makes the actual appointment as both head of state and Supreme Governor of the established Church of England.

The CNC consists of the archbishop of York, another senior bishop, six members of the church’s ruling body, the General Synod, three representatives of the diocese of Canterbury and five members chosen from the global Anglican Communion.

Concerns have arisen in the past year about the functioning of the CNC, which also assesses candidates for all Church of England bishoprics. Two-thirds of CNC members must support any nominee, giving outsized power to a minority opposing a candidate’s views on, for instance, blessings on same-sex relationships.

Earlier this year the CNC failed to reach consensus on candidates for the next bishop of Ely, putting the decision off until spring. Last December, a similar problem arose with the appointment of the new bishop of Carlisle, and the see remains vacant.

Lack of consensus could be a particular risk in the nomination of a candidate for Archbishop of Canterbury, especially since Welby gave representatives of the wider, generally more conservative Anglican Communion a bigger presence on the CNC.

Among likely candidates are Martyn Snow, 56, bishop of Leicester, lead bishop for the highly contested issue of sexuality; Graham Usher, 54, bishop of Norwich, keen on environmental issues; and the conservative evangelical candidate, Paul Williams, 56, bishop of Southwell and Nottingham.

Two women are also thought to be in the running: the highly respected Guli Francis-Dehqani, 58, bishop of Chelmsford, an Iranian refugee whose core issue is housing and who has none of Welby’s corporate style, and Rachel Treweek, 61, bishop of Gloucester and the first woman bishop to sit in the Lords.

Stephen Cottrell, the popular archbishop of York who will keep the Anglican ship afloat from now until the appointment of Welby’s successor, is not considered a likely candidate because he is already 66 and would be too close to retirement age at the time of appointment.

Also now being mentioned for Canterbury is the bishop of Newcastle, Helen-Ann Hartley, the only bishop to call publicly for Welby’s resignation last month. A petition is now doing the rounds in England, calling for her to be appointed.

WHYTE CALLS ON KING CHARLES TO FIRE THE ARCHBISHOP OF CANTERBURY AND LEADER OF THE ANGLICAN CHURCH, JUSTIN WELBY, FOR SUGGESTING THAT HOMOSEXUAL SEX IS GOOD IF IT IS IN A “COMMITTED RELATIONSHIP.” DANIEL WHYTE III TELLS KING CHARLES III FURTHER THAT THERE IS NO WAY YOU BELIEVE SODOMY/HOMOSEXUALITY IS GOOD FOR YOUR NATION AND KINGDOM. DANIEL WHYTE III SAYS FURTHER TO KING CHARLES III AS HE HAS PREDICTED THE MONARCHY IS LOSING DECADES OF LOYAL FRIENDS AND NATIONS ON THE CONTINENT OF AFRICA AND THE ISLANDS OF THE SEA THAT LOVE THE MONARCHY OVER THIS EVIL FOOLISHNESS. WHYTE SAYS PUT A STOP TO IT NOW, FOR THE GLORY OF GOD, FOR THE GLORY OF JESUS CHRIST THE KING OF KINGS, FOR THE GOOD OF THE CHURCH, AND FOR THE GOOD OF THE NATION AND THE KINGDOM.

For decades, the deplorable Anglican denomination has been drifting towards damnation, abandoning all biblical fidelity and proving time and time again millions of members are not the least bit committed to upholding the biblical teachings. Instead, they’ve adopted the worst excesses of the woke movement in a pathetic and desperate attempt at relevancy, and it shows. From voting to bless same-sex civil “marriages” to praising the Hindus for celebrating their pagan holiday’ Diwali’ and wishing them well on their week of unrestrained idol worship, they are as corrupt as they come.

Much of the move towards the acceptance of homosexuality has come from Justin Welby, the impish and effete Archbishop of Canterbury and head of the Anglican church, who previously cried demonic little tears when he urged the denomination to start blessing civil same-sex ‘marriages.’

But Welby continues to drag his denomination further downward, appearing on a recent episode of The Rest is Politics podcast, hosted by Alastair Campbell.

In 2017, Campbell previously asked Welby whether or not gay sex was a sin, and the spineless non-leader gave this convoluted answer:

Seven years later, Campbell asked Welby if he had a better answer to his previous hemming and hawing, and Welby affirmed he did, denying the biblical position that all homosexual activity is prohibited at all times:

“What the Archbishop of York and I, and the bishops, by a majority, by no means unanimous, and the Church is deeply split over this – where we’ve come to is to say that all sexual activity should be within a committed relationship and whether it’s straight or gay.

“In other words, we’re not giving up on the idea that sex is within marriage or civil partnership. We’ve put forward a proposal that where people have been through a civil partnership or a same-sex marriage, equal marriage under the 2014 Act, they should be able to come along to their local, to a church, and have a service of prayer and blessing for them in their lives together.

“So we accept that. Now, I think this is a long way from church same-sex marriage ...”

The Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby has resigned. Pictured: March 2024

In a statement, Dr Welby said: ‘ Having sought the gracious permission of His Majesty The King, I have decided to resign as Archbishop of Canterbury.’

Justin Welby said he was standing down after a damning report found his failure to act meant that ‘abhorrent’ serial abuser John Smyth was never brought to justice.

Dr Welby had initially tried to cling on, but was effectively forced to quit after senior colleagues joined criticism and more than 10,000 people signed a petition. Keir Starmer had also pointedly refused to back the Archbishop.

The Archbishop of York said the resignation was the ‘right and honourable thing to do’, while MPs insisted there was a duty on leaders of institutions to ‘report and rigorously follow up’ safeguarding concerns.

Survivor groups stressed that there should be more departures rather than Dr Welby being the sole ‘scapegoat’. Those facing calls to go include the Bishop of Lincoln, Stephen Conway, who has apologised for not taking ‘further action’.

In a statement this afternoon, Dr Welby said: ‘Having sought the gracious permission of His Majesty The King, I have decided to resign as Archbishop of Canterbury.

‘The Makin Review has exposed the long-maintained conspiracy of silence about the heinous abuses of John Smyth.

‘When I was informed in 2013 and told that police had been notified, I believed wrongly that an appropriate resolution would follow.

‘It is very clear that I must take personal and institutional responsibility for the long and retraumatising period between 2013 and 2024.’

Dr Welby added: ‘The last few days have renewed my long felt and profound sense of shame at the historic safeguarding failures of the Church of England.’

Sir Keir declined to give Dr Welby full support on Monday after a senior Bishop called for him to resign, instead saying that it is a ‘matter really for the church’.

However he went a step further today when he was asked about growing calls for the Archbishop to step down while attending Cop29 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Sir Keir said that findings in the review by Keith Makin that Smyth abused more than 100 boys and young men are ‘clearly horrific’ and that his victims ‘have obviously been failed very, very badly’.

Justin Welby’s statement in full

Having sought the gracious permission of His Majesty The King, I have decided to resign as Archbishop of Canterbury.

The Makin Review has exposed the long-maintained conspiracy of silence about the heinous abuses of John Smyth.

When I was informed in 2013 and told that police had been notified, I believed wrongly that an appropriate resolution would follow.

It is very clear that I must take personal and institutional responsibility for the long and retraumatising period between 2013 and 2024.

It is my duty to honour my Constitutional and church responsibilities, so exact timings will be decided once a review of necessary obligations has been completed, including those in England and in the Anglican Communion.

I hope this decision makes clear how seriously the Church of England understands the need for change and our profound commitment to creating a safer church. As I step down I do so in sorrow with all victims and survivors of abuse.

The last few days have renewed my long felt and profound sense of shame at the historic safeguarding failures of the Church of England. For nearly twelve years I have struggled to introduce improvements. It is for others to judge what has been done.

In the meantime, I will follow through on my commitment to meet victims. I will delegate all my other current responsibilities for safeguarding until the necessary risk assessment process is complete.

I ask everyone to keep my wife Caroline and my children in their prayers. They have been my most important support throughout my ministry, and I am eternally grateful for their sacrifice. Caroline led the spouses’ programme during the Lambeth Conference and has travelled tirelessly in areas of conflict supporting the most vulnerable, the women, and those who care for them locally.

I believe that stepping aside is in the best interests of the Church of England, which I dearly love and which I have been honoured to serve. I pray that this decision points us back towards the love that Jesus Christ has for every one of us.

For above all else, my deepest commitment is to the person of Jesus Christ, my saviour and my God; the bearer of the sins and burdens of the world, and the hope of every person.

The PM said: ‘Let me be clear. Of what I know of the allegations, they are clearly horrific in relation to this particular case and both in their scale and their content and my thoughts, as they are with all of these issues, are with the victims here who have obviously been failed very, very badly.

‘It is a matter in the end for the Church but I am not going to shy away from the fact saying these are horrific allegations and my thoughts are with the victims in relation to it and I think that is very important.’

Pressure had been heaped on Dr Welby after a senior Bishop broke ranks yesterday calling for him to resign immediately.

The Right Reverend Helen-Ann Hartley, the Bishop of Newcastle, said that his position was ‘untenable’.

‘I think that it’s very hard for the church, as the national, established church, to continue to have a moral voice in any way, shape or form in our nation, when we cannot get our own house in order,’ she told the BBC.

She added that while Dr Welby’s resignation is ‘not going to solve the problem’, it would be ‘a very clear indication that a line has been drawn, and that we must move towards independence of safeguarding’.

Meanwhile a petition – started by three members of the Church’s ruling body, the General Synod, and backed by a number of high-profile priests – calling for the Archbishop to resign passed 12,000 signatures this morning.

The petition read: ‘Given his role in allowing abuse to continue, we believe that his continuing as the Archbishop of Canterbury is no longer tenable. We must see change, for the sake of survivors, for the protection of the vulnerable, and for the good of the Church.’

Dr Welby is believed to have notified the King of his intentions this morning, before the PM’s remarks.

Dr Welby’s resignation is unprecedented and marks first time that an Archbishop of Canterbury has resigned in such controversial circumstances.

The law requires that the Archbishop of Canterbury to retire by the age of 70, meaning that at 68 Dr Welby would have had almost two more years until a successor was appointed.

The retirement is usually announced well in advance as it is often a drawn out process to appoint a successor.

It is more common for archbishops to die in office than to resign, with Thomas Becket being assassinated and Thomas Cranmer executed.

And while Rowan Williams, Lord Williams of Oystermouth, did resign in 2012 at the age of 62, this was done to take up a prestigious position as master of Magdalene College, Cambridge.

An Archbishop also needs the monarch’s blessing to step down, which is not guaranteed. When former Archbishop Lord George Carey stepped tried to step down, the late Queen reminded him that she ‘can’t resign either’.

Stephen Cottrell, the Archbishop of York, said Dr Welby’s resignation was ‘the right and honourable thing to do’.

In a statement, he said: ‘As I read the Makin Review last week and reflected on the terrible abuse perpetrated by John Smyth and shamefully covered up by others, I am, first of all, moved by the accounts of victims and survivors that we have heard from so powerfully. They were badly let down by many in different parts of the Church of England. I am grateful for their courage to be part of the review.

‘As a church we continue to work towards and must achieve a more victim-centred and trauma-informed approach to safeguarding within the Church of England, and this must address the broader questions of culture and leadership. In this regard, much progress has already been made over the last 10 years.

‘Indeed, it has been Archbishop Justin himself who has championed those developments and reforms. Both Justin and I have made our hopes known about the independence of safeguarding discussed both by Makin and also in Alexis Jay’s report and look forward to the group already at work on these bringing recommendations which can be both effective and trusted.

‘As Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin has decided to take his share of responsibility for the failures identified by the Makin review. I believe this is the right and honourable thing to do.

‘Whilst this is a difficult day for Justin, I pray there will be an opportunity to reflect on and appreciate the many positive aspects of his ministry and his huge commitment to the Church of England, the Anglican Communion and above all the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

‘But I continue to take account of the needs and experiences of victims and survivors and look to the various changes, above all the greater independence of safeguarding, that we need to help ensure these failings never happen again. It is to this ongoing work that I commit myself.’

The House of Survivors, which was set up by two survivors of Church of England abuse to help others, welcomed the Archbishop’s resignation and called for other implicated clergy to follow.

John Smyth (pictured) is believed to be the most prolific serial abuser to be associated with the Church of England

It said: ‘House of Survivors sees this decision as the right one and inevitable following the revelations of this week.

‘We expect more resignations to follow. The Archbishop must not be the scapegoat. The list of clergy in the ‘circles of awareness’ is staggering.’

The report said a victim informed Bishop Conway’s then-diocese in Ely of the allegations against Smyth in 2013.

The man, who was not named, told the BBC of Bishop Conway: ‘He was the person in a position to stop John Smyth, bring him to justice and he fundamentally failed.’

Responding to the Makin review, Bishop Conway said: ‘In light of the review, I understand that there were further actions I could have taken following my reporting of the disclosures made to us in the Diocese of Ely about John Smyth.

‘I am sorry that I did not pursue these actions at that time.’

The Bishop of Stepney Joanne Grenfell said: ‘As lead Bishop for safeguarding for the Church of England, I have been acutely aware of the impact of the Makin report and the retraumatizing effects of its publication on victims and survivors of John Smyth’s awful abuse.

‘With sadness, I fully respect and understand Archbishop Justin’s decision today to resign. Although Archbishop Justin has helped the Church of England to achieve much in relation to safeguarding during his tenure, because of the failings identified in the Makin Report, it is now necessary for others to take up the baton.

‘Of course, the responsibility for good safeguarding in the Church of England lies with every one of us. Archbishop Justin’s resignation does not change that, and his decision today does not absolve any of us from bringing about the wholesale changes in culture and leadership that are essential in every part of the Church.

‘I am acutely aware of the need in our current work on safeguarding independence, following the report of Professor Alexis Jay, to bring to General Synod recommendations for moving forward which can be both effective and trusted in this regard.

‘I have worked closely with Archbishop Justin since I took on this role and have greatly valued his personal commitment to good safeguarding and his desire to see the whole Church make this a priority.’

AS PROPHET DANIEL WHYTE III TOLD KING CHARLES III TO FIRE THE ARCHBISHOP OF CANTERBURY, JUSTIN WELBY, FOR PROMOTING AND AFFIRMING THE ABOMINATION OF SODOMY/HOMOSEXUALITY (AND THE KING FIRED HIM WITHIN 2 WEEKS), WHYTE NOW REISSUES HIS REPEATED CALL FOR POPE FRANCIS TO RESIGN FOR PROMOTING AND AFFIRMING THE ABOMINATION OF SODOMY/HOMOSEXUALITY AND NOW, PARTICULARLY, FOR APPOINTING AN LGBTQIPF2SSAA+ COMPROMISED PRIEST TO BECOME “PREACHER OF THE PAPAL HOUSEHOLD.” WHYTE SAYS IF THE POPE DOES NOT RESIGN FOR DOING GRAVE, IRREPARABLE DAMAGE TO THE CHURCH UNIVERSAL, HE CALLS ON THE ECUMENICAL COUNCIL TO REMOVE THE POPE.

Pope Francis can hardly go a day without doing something that leaves Roman Catholic apologists tearing their hair out as they gnash their teeth in frustration, and the recent appointment of Capuchin friar Father Pasolini to the post of Preacher of the Papal Household is no exception.

While there is no such thing as a ‘good’ pope, Francis has been particularly noxious and vexatious, doing things like affirming the faith of Joe Biden and saying he would never refuse him communion because the President’s love for abortion is between him and God, endorsing civil unions for gay couples, appointing multiple pro-choice people to his pro-life organization, saying that he’s open to priests blessing homosexual relationships, so long as there is no suggestion that they’re blessing gay marriages, and continuing to promote and endorse notorious LGBTQ-affirming priest James Martin.

The appointment of Pasolini to replace outgoing Cardinal Raniero Cantalamessa, who held the post for over four decades, suggests Francis continues to surround himself with gay-affirming priestly personalities. Pasolini has often been criticized for teaching a ‘rainbow Bible,’ giving credence and legitimacy to all the Queer theologian’s favorite queer speculations, including that David and Jonathan were lovers and that the centurion and his servant were in a homosexual relationship. According to Catholic Vote:

Father Pasolini’s recent theological positions on homosexuality form the crux of Scrosati’s critique. The new preacher has suggested, for instance, that certain Biblical relationships — such as those between Jonathan and David or the Roman centurion and his servant — could be interpreted as alluding to homosexual love. Pasolini’s arguments, Scrosati contends, rely on “pure fantasy” rather than sound exegesis.

During a public discussion held at the Convent of the Capuchin Friars Minor in Varese, Italy, on “Homosexuality and Christianity,” Pasolini acknowledged that the Bible does not affirm homosexual relationships but suggested that certain passages leave room for imaginative interpretation.

Referring to the bond between Jonathan and David, Pasolini stated, “To go so far as to affirm that it was a homosexual relationship is, however, a manipulation of the text… yet we are in any case authorized to imagine that the love between David and Saul’s son could have been of this nature.” Scrosati called this a clear instance of “forcing the text to fit a predetermined narrative.”

IF YOU WERE TO DIE TODAY, WHERE WOULD YOU GO: HEAVEN OR HELL? IF YOU’RE NOT SURE, “BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND THOU SHALT BE SAVED” FOR JESUS CHRIST SAID THE MOST IMPORTANT WORDS EVER SPOKEN IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD WHEN HE SAID, “FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.” READ FURTHER RIGHT HERE:

THE BIG QUESTION
GOSPEL LIGHT MINUTE X #447 WITH DANIEL WHYTE III

This is the “Chief of sinners,” Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society International, with the Gospel Light Minute X Podcast #447 titled, “The Big Question” I’m here to remind you of what the Bible says, that “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” like you and me.

“HAVE YOU BEEN BORN AGAIN?”
The question is not “Have you joined a church?” or “Are you trying to do your best?” or “Do you have religion?” but “Are you twice-born?” Jesus Christ said in John 3:3, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God”.
We enter the physical world by birth. Spiritual life likewise is entered with a birth. We become members of a human family by birth; we become members of the family of God by birth, by being “born again.” There is no other way to get into the human family except by birth, and there is no other way to get into God’s family except by the new birth. Neither education, nor cultivation, nor reformation, nor “turning over a new leaf,” will accomplish this. What is needed is not a new “leaf” but a new “life”! “Ye must be born again” (John 3:7).

A New Nature Needed
By physical birth we become partakers of human nature; by being born again we become “partakers of the divine nature”. A Christian is the product of a divine “begetting”. The second birth is not an improvement of the old nature; it is the imparting of an entirely new nature. The old nature is hopelessly corrupt and incapable of ever being made fit for His presence. The new birth requires a creative act of the Holy Spirit. “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature”.

Not “Trying” But “Trusting”

“Trying to follow Christ” is not Christianity. Christianity is not imitation of Christ, it is the indwelling of Christ. Christianity is not trying to do anything. It is trusting Christ Who has done it all! He has “finished the work” and there is nothing left to do but simply to receive and trust Him. He shed His precious blood on the cross and the work is all done once and forever! Cease trying and begin trusting! Believers will progressively become more and more like Christ, but by His power, not their own.

What Must I Do To Be Saved?
Simply “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ”. The Bible says in 1 John 5:1, “Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God”. The Bible states in John 1:12,13, “As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God”.
You are born again, you become a Christian by trusting a Person—receiving a Person. The very moment you do this, the Lord Jesus Christ comes in and life begins!

What Is Meant By “Believe”?
To “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” means more than simply believing the historic facts concerning Him. Intellectual belief about Christ is not sufficient. The belief that brings salvation must be “with the heart,” that is, with the whole being. This belief also includes repentance: “Repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ”. The Bible states in Acts 17:30, “God … now commandeth all men every where to repent”.

The faith which saves, then, includes the necessity to repent, and to receive Christ as Saviour and Lord, to rest upon Him alone for salvation. It means to trust Him so utterly and completely that, if He should fail, there would be no hope at all!

May I Know That I Am Born Again?
This is an important question. We know that we are born again by the testimony of God’s Word. God says in John 5:24, “He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life”. Have you believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as explained by God’s Word? If so, then you are saved, you are “born again,” you have “passed from death unto life.” God says so! Take God at His Word, and go on your way rejoicing!

One Final Word
You may “belong to a church,” you may be “trying to do the best you can,” you may be “striving to live right.” Your outward life may be the model of moral correctness, and you may be looked up to, honored, revered, and respected. Yet, if you have not been “born again” you are just as lost as if you had never heard of Christ. Yes, you may teach in the Sunday school, read the Bible, sing, shout, “feel happy,” and all the rest—but if you have never been “born again” you are still in your sins and a stranger to the Lord Jesus Christ!.

If you want to be saved from the wrath to come and from an eternity in Hell, and if you believe that Jesus Christ suffered, bled, and died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose again from the dead and you are willing to trust Jesus Christ with all of your heart so you can go to Heaven, please pray with me what is called the sinner’s prayer: Holy Father God, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I admit that I have sinned against You and that I have broken Your Ten Commandments. I have lied before. I have stolen things before. I have lusted after people and things before. I have dishonored and disobeyed my parents. I have taken Your holy Name in vain. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please have mercy and grace upon my soul and forgive me of all of my sins, my failures, and my faults. As I now believe in Your Holy Son the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe that He suffered, bled, and died on the cross for my sins, was buried and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to repent of my sins past. Help me to turn from my old, evil life and follow You in the new life. For it is in Your Name I pray. Amen.
