“This is too much”- Mother of Ajayi Crowther university student beaten to death by his colleagues over Phone theft falls into coma

Princess Anthonia Emiko, the mother of Prince Alex Timileyin, the Ajayi Crowther University student allegedly beaten to death by his colleagues, is reportedly in a coma in a hospital.

The devastating news was shared by Itsekiri activist Lord of Warri, who took to his X handle to call on the appropriate authorities for justice for Prince Alex, who lost his life unjustly.

In his posts, the activist urged Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo State, and the Nigeria police to ensure that those responsible for the tragic death of Prince Alex are held accountable.

According to the activist, Princess Anthonia was left shattered after the death of her son and was eventually hospitalized in a coma.

It can be recalled that on May 26th, Prince Alex was accused of stealing his schoolmate’s phone, leading to his colleagues beating him continuously until he eventually died.

The post reads, “Princess Antonia Emiko, mother of the late Prince Alex Timileyin, is in urgent need of your prayers. She lies hospitalized in a coma, overcome with unbearable pain and sorrow. The bond between a mother and her child is unbreakable, and her only son’s tragic loss has left her shattered.”

“I also appeal to @oyostategovt, @OyoPoliceNG, and His Excellency @seyiamakinde to ensure that justice is served and those responsible for her son’s tragic death are held accountable.”

“Let us rally around Princess Antonia with our thoughts and prayers, seeking comfort and strength for her in this darkest hour. May God’s grace and mercy be upon her and her family.”
