“This Is Tha Foolish Idea I Told My Team On Real Estate” — Didi-Omah Augustine Chinazaekpere

Executive, I told my team at Et Cetera (Real Estate) Group, Rivers State, Nigeria. During one of our weekly corporate meeting, I told them one foolish idea, like the idea is senseless and mad to think of it. But it holds wealth as mad it is.

Here is the idea, I will reveal it to you, if you are the first to launch it better but you can't do it more best than the originator of the idea — I thank God for designing life like that. I told them, what is Rivers State known for?

They said, as the treasure base of the nation, as the second richest state after Lagos, as the home of renewable energy, as the home of stable government after Lagos and Abuja.

I smiled, and said, then what is real estate about. They said, it is more than land buying, house renting, house buying, properties buying and selling, property rental. I smiled, and asked about the types of real estate, they were looking at me with one kind of looking, why these questions.

Executive, they still answered: commercial real estate, agricultural real estate, residential real estate, industrial real estate. They even talked on land banking, real estate brokers, real estate developers, real estate agents, real estate marketplace, and all terms related to real estate. They were seeing questions, I was seeing billions in their answers; that's why mindset is the first thing to change if you want to change your financial status.

Then I asked them, what is the meaning of Et Cetera, that is etc., they said, it has more continuity, like it is have more than what was listed on. I looked at the map of Africa in my atlas, my team looking at me. I said, I am a global businessman, I have the world in my hands and I know exactly where to found all the minerals resources you can ever think of to make anything or technology or wealth.

They were just mute looking at me. I smiled, it was like someone greater have come to revealed to us, then one of my great staff asked me, Mr Didi-Omah, what is the next way to stand tall in River State Real Estate Competitive Market? I responded and said, Rivers State is my state and my responsibility, no real estate company in this state can beat us, I said that with confidence. If you can beat us, leave us at the feet — which is very impossible because God is our source of prosperity and ideas.

You don't make money when you sell real estate, you only make money when you buy real estate. You make money from real estate when you buy not when you sell — that's the truth. Executive, I have studied over 30 real estate companies around the world before venturing into real estate. So I am not after the Nigeria real estate market, I am after disruptive means to win. What I mean is, I am after a feature or service to bring, then the rest will fall out. Your competitors are not after your idea, they don't need it. But they will copy you when your idea is disrupting their market.

That is to say, a new idea is not a disruptive thing, the disruptive thing is customers acquisition. The Pharisees and Sadducees were not jealous of Jesus Christ when He started His ministry because they were there before His coming into Ministry. But when they see the multitude turning to Jesus Christ, and they were losing their respect and power over the people — they became jealous. So do I need a marketing coach on this, no the Bible have just shown me a way to beat my competitors without being rude.

Sorry to say, most of you have been reading your Bible not gotten any knowledge to apply in growing your business or ministry, you need special prayers. What I just showed you from the Bible is what I learnt studying the Bible by myself with the fellowship of the Spirit of Truth; no human mentor, no Bible scholar by my side as to say, taught me. I will let you to know, that ten years prayers cannot get you this knowledge, I just showed you. Try it, the Spirit of Truth will still direct you to read the Holy Scriptures, what a great book. Now this is what I showed my team at Et Cetera (Real Estate) Group.

My words to them: let's allow them to be selling properties and lands, that's not our field for now. Let develop an investment portal, legalized it under the Government. List in on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, list few lands for sale to the public, advertise the investment portal. Then allow the public to invest in our real estate through the Nigerian Stock Exchange, both institutional and individual investors. From that money, we build comfortable standard houses with renewable energy with some solar power and others, wind turbines.

We place the houses at affordable rate to cut down out our competitors. Our targets is not to make profit, it to win trusts. When we have sold out like 200 houses and pay investors their earnings. We launched to Ghana, South Africa, Egypt, and the rest of Africa — doing the same thing and listing our company in their Stock Exchange market and in partnership with their government.

They were looking at me, like this is mad, we never thought of this. I continued: now we are facing to sit as the wealthest real estate company in Africa. Because people buy houses at affordable rate, live in their houses, and still earn from the house they bought from us — through the Stock market. Is that possible, yes they asked. You know, I answered, it is not possible but we can do it.

Leave lands and properties selling to our competitors. Let's make a way people can own properties and earn money every three months from our company, while making us getting billions every month, they earn in three months, we earn monthly. And we rolled out premium monthly earnings schemes. This will attract high profile people to invest billions in our company. The poor can earn millions, the rich can earn millions, the country can boost economy — who sits, Et Cetera (Real Estate) Group.

In the process of time, we buys real estate ventures that are struggling, and we become a large real estate holding company in Africa. And we move to buy some outside Africa to smile at the foreign real estate giants at their field, and play the game effectively and smarter. I advised them to leave the company, and run with the idea. But they cannot, you know why? Every idea have it weakness, only those that generate ideas know the way to trap that idea and weak you — because it is their products.

You cannot fight the devil with his ideas or tools, you are already on the lossing side. So I tell you, this idea was gotten from the Bible, Book of Proverbs and was revealed to me by The Spirit of Truth. I don't fight to get ideas, it is just a gift of God to me as He calls me into business. I remembered when I told God that I don't know how to beg, and I don't want to be a poor business man, He guide me through. That's it. Think about how people will be rich from your business without working for you, Executive.

He who created the computer virus, also know how to create an anti-virus and sell to you to kill what he once created, that is wicked business — but it is working. You create the problem, you recommend your solution to the people to buy, but you are the creator of the problem; how come do you know the actual solution to it. And people must buy because they want to kill the problem, the virus. Think again!
