In a recent video on his official Facebook page, Primate Elijah Ayodele has raised concerns about the growing strength and determination of opposition forces in Lagos State, warning that their activities could significantly impact the political landscape.

Speaking during a public address, Ayodele noted that many underestimate the opposition’s resolve. “Coalition or what have you, the opposition—don’t think they are not serious,” he said. “They are very, very, very serious and they are ready.”

He emphasized that the opposition’s readiness poses a challenge to the political establishment in Lagos. “They are ready to do and undo. That is why Lagos is shaking,” Ayodele stated.

The cleric’s comments come amid increased political maneuvering ahead of upcoming elections, with various groups forming alliances and seeking to strengthen their influence in key states. His remarks highlight Lagos as a central battleground where political dynamics may shift.
