“They Stole My PS5 And N300k” - Nigerian Man Cries Out After Robbery

A Nigerian man has taken to social media to share his distress after being robbed of his PlayStation 5 and N300,000 shortly after leaving his father’s home.

Identified as Uncle Emeka, who goes by the handle YANKEE GADGETS .ng (@yankeeplug_) online, he recounted the incident in a post on X (formerly Twitter). The thief reportedly made away with his PS5 console and the cash he had stored in his wardrobe.

In his post, Emeka expressed frustration over the loss, jokingly regretting his decision to save rather than spend the money, which was intended for his personal use.

“Got robbed, stole PS5 and 300k cash from my wardrobe. I no dey save money again, the rest of this year na for balling. Money wey I no gree spend dem don thief am!!” he wrote, also criticizing the growing insecurity in the country.

The incident reportedly occurred shortly after Emeka moved out of his father’s house, adding an emotional layer to the misfortune. He revealed that losing the PS5 was particularly painful.

“Na the PS5 pain me pass, I never even finish some missions ,” he shared.

This incident follows the recent death of Arise TV anchor Somtochukwu Christelle Maduagwu, who tragically lost her life in a robbery attack on September 29.
