Rivers Crisis: “I am from Rivers State. Deep down we are truly sleeping, we need to wake up and push further” — Didi-Omah urges Rivers' people to take their destinies and have dominion in the state

“One of the idea, I will bring is this, it is time we the Riverians take our destinies and have dominion. It's okay, we have government and we have our citizenship rights — also working with our state government.

I am from Rivers State, Nigeria. I reside in the state, I have investments and industries — businesses in the state. How can this be done? We the Riverians should collaborate together, with our present government in anything, everything — be it policies making, appointments, political affairs, economic affairs and social affairs.

When we invest our workforce, energy, knowledge, mind, money, vision, solutions — in the economy, politics and social of our Rivers State — we are not just building, we are making the state, a powerful organization of people.

Deep down we are truly sleeping, we need to wake up and push further. This is not a calling for violence, it's a calling for smart strategies, systems and structures. Once we have successfully completed these; we then fix the man, the state will fix itself automatically.

We need more political, economic and financial powers through transformational empowerments — that's simple.”
