True Life Story: The Situationship Between My My Baby Daddy & My Boyfriend

Please help me with advise. My baby daddy wants to take my children away from me simply because his cousin is interested in me. I don’t know why this man is being selfish. I met my baby daddy about six years ago. We dated a while and I found out he had a girlfriend. I tried to break up with him but he kept telling me that they are not serious. This continued until I actually got pregnant for him.

The girlfriend when she heard I was pregnant, reached out to me to tell me that they have done traditional marriage. I was devastated. So I finally broke up with him. Told him not to contact me until I give birth. But my pregnancy was a difficult one. I was pregnant with twins. I had to let the father know. So, he became supportive cos of the pregnancy. The wife did not like it, she filed for divorce and left him.

After a long difficult pregnancy, I gave birth through CS to twins: girls. Their dad was happy and always dotting on them. We lived together until his siblings started giving me attitude. I think they felt threatened by me, that I will not let them continue enjoying their brother. They started blaming me for their brother’s first marriage breaking up, they started fighting me and if I complained, their brother will take their side.

The tension became so bad that I had to leave their brother’s house. Besides, he was seeing other women. My girls were becoming one year old, he is not saying anything about marrying me, yet he was sleeping with me and other women. So, I decided to leave. Now, there is this cousin of his, (not really cousins but distant relations but they are close) that loves my girls so much, he used to buy them and me gifts all the time. When he heard I left their father, he started telling me that he has feelings for me.

At first, I rejected him but after a while, I realized I was in love with him cos he’s been like a rock of support to me and my girls. Now, my baby daddy heard about me and his cousin and is saying he does not want me to see his cousin anymore. I told him since he is not my boyfriend or husband, he cannot tell me who to see or not to see. This angered him and his family. They started calling me gold digger, that since I could not get their brother, I have gone after their cousin who is even richer than their brother.

God knows, I never went after the cousin…he came after me. So because of these rumors and bad blood from my baby daddy and his siblings, his cousin’s mother said she will not agree to our marriage. They have been feeding her lies about me, that I am a home wrecker and that I am a gold digger. For the past one year, I have tried everything to win her cos my boyfriend promised me that she will eventually change her mind about me….but it seems the more I try…the more she h@tes me. I am exhausted from trying to please this family.

My boyfriend has said we are getting married with or without his mother’s permission. Is this wise? I told him I don’t want to come in-between him and his mother, he said its not relevant. This has been a battle and I am getting tired of fighting. Then all of a sudden, my baby daddy came and tried to seduce me to sleep with him. I had to use all my might to fight him off. He said as long as I am his children’s mother, I will always belong to him. I told him never.

Since that time, he stopped sending money for my girls…he said if I want money, I should let him sleep with me.
