NUJ Zone C VP Ezenwa Adiuku Greets Journalists, South-East Residents in October Message

The Vice President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Zone C, Comrade Ezenwa Adiuku, JP, has felicitated journalists, media practitioners and residents of the South East as the month of October begins.

In a goodwill message issued on October 1, 2026, Adiuku praised journalists across Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo States for their resilience, professionalism and commitment to informing the public and holding power to account.

He described the media as a critical pillar of democracy and urged practitioners to uphold professional ethics amid the evolving challenges of the industry.

Adiuku also thanked the people of the region for supporting a free and responsible press, and called for stronger collaboration between the media and citizens to promote transparency, good governance and development.

He wished journalists safety in the discharge of their duties and prayed for peace, prosperity and unity across the South East.
