Nico Paz emerges as leading contender for Messi’s iconic No. 10 jersey

Young Argentine midfielder Nico Paz has emerged as the leading contender to inherit Lionel Messi’s iconic No. 10 jersey for the national team following the superstar’s retirement from international football.

The Real Madrid academy product has impressed with his technical ability, vision, and composure on the ball, qualities that have drawn comparisons to the legendary playmaker.

At just 21, Paz is already being viewed by many as a potential long-term successor in the creative role that Messi defined for over two decades.

While no official decision has been made, the growing consensus among fans and pundits suggests Paz is the standout candidate to wear the famous number.

The choice would symbolise a new era for Argentina, with the young talent carrying the weight of one of football’s most prestigious shirts.
