In a track sport or a race, to win a prize; the sportsman needs to take a leg back, and one forward — looking at the way ahead. That he might start with energy and finish with speed. Executive. One of the truth that makes Bill Gates, Elon Musk and other reputable great people in the world. Executive. Is going back to records. 

Checking back to their notes, previous knowledge written down in journals, tracking back to previous records kept, going back to their previous documentation of ideas and knowledge. Which is very important. It is like pulling a leg back, looking forward, before running or jumping.

Don't write knowledge down, without going back to look at them, without reading the relevant information you noted down — previously. Going back to notes: written three months ago, a year ago, six months ago, some years ago and so on — is going back to records.

Knowledge gotten years ago, is not a waste. They are rappings of power that was given to you, to equip you for the challenges and potential works ahead. Executive. Stay grounded!

Most people write down notes, without going back to read them. They take records in their journals, without reviewing them later in time. Take records, write down notes — and go back to look at them. Review your plans, your notes, your journals, etc.

I will have to tell you, this is one of the truth that still makes ordinary people to be great people. Taking a leg back, looking forward, before you run or jump ahead. You must look back to your notes, records and journals. 

Executive. It is not acquiring more knowledge, without going back to study what you wrote time ago; or else you will fail ahead. Go back, take a look back, study what you have written back with time — that you may succeed ahead. 

Same it is in the church, many people write down notes on what the preacher or teacher have said: the sermon, the teaching, the knowledge. But never go back to read what they have written down, the notes that they have documented — they never study back to them. Executive. That is why we have only few progressing ahead in the church.

Same to school, many students copy notes, take down notes; but never sit down to study what they have written down. They set no time to look back on the knowledge they have noted down in their books. That is why we have many average marks in our academic reports. We have to understand that it is very essential and important for we to go back and look at what we have noted down with time. Executive. That we may succeed ahead.

So therefore, Executive. Let us start by doing it now. Not later, not tomorrow, not maybe — but now, today, this time and beginning from this moment. And you will see that you will not just be recharged from the written down knowledge of time past; you are set to succeed ahead. Executive. Do not forget, we all are in a race, set to win the prize before us.
