When Personal Interests Collide with Established Agreements

It is the saddest thing to learn that one Mr Basil Ogbuanu who bought a parcel of land from the former governor of Enugu state His excellency senator Jim Nwobodo in a large estate slated for Linkana hotels at the independence layout, which is now Patson estate decided to lay claim to the entire estate. He is the one who has chosen the path of infamy. This is a clear act of criminality He converted the entire property belonging to his Excellency Dr Ifeanyichukwu Nwobodo to his personal use, while the former Governor of old Anambra state was busy with governance, he connived with a lawyer (late)Amaka Igwe her cousin, who later apologized for her role in the saga.

Yet Mr Basil Ogbuanu elected a path where gnashing of teeth is the creed, his conduct negates the lessons of trust as a virtue because he has started blackmailing His Excellency Dr Ifeanyichukwu Nwobodo and his family for mundane things. Very shameful, because this very act betrays all that was meaningful.

Some low lives in politics have elected to sponsor Mr Ogbuanu to denigrate His Excellency Dr Ifeanyichukwu Nwobodo. Mr Ogbuanu went in and started developing Patson estate which later turned to accommodation and hideouts for criminals, especially kidnappers, this made the security agencies to invade the place, demolished and arrested the criminals.

The matter of Patson estate is still in court, and Mr Ogbuanu has gone to town with a false narrative, while he was advised to wait for recertification of the allotted estate by the authorities which is in tandem with the land use act, Mr Ogbuanu encroached the entire estate, and has launched a smearing of name campaign on the rightful owner, who is the former Governor of old Anambra state Dr Ifeanyichukwu Nwobodo.

What he will get is contempt for breaching an agreement as far back as 1976 before Dr Ifeanyichukwu Nwobodo became Governor of old Anambra state. Mr Ogbuanu claims to be a Pastor but engages in frivolous activities, who knows if the government of Anambra state will have to look into his activity within the church angle, since they’ve started arresting false prophets. Mr Ogbuanu should henceforth desist from propagating falsehood and playing of a victim while being a traitor and it’s criminal to lay claim to what doesn’t belong to him.
