WhatsApp recently released the new app update for iOS users which will allow them to start a group call with up to 31 members. WhatsApp previously enabled users to initiate group calls with up to 15 participants, marking a notable improvement from the prior limit of only 7 individuals. However, the company has now raised this limit to 31 participants.

With the most recent updates, users can now initiate group calls with the full capacity of 32 participants right from the start, streamlining and enriching the calling experience.
Here’s how to initiate a group call on WhatsApp

– Open the group chat you want to call.

– Tap the Video call or Voice call button at the top of the screen.

– Confirm that you want to call the group.

– If your group has 32 or fewer participants, the call will start immediately. If your group has more than 32 participants, you’ll need to select the participants you want to add to the call.

– Once you’ve selected the participants, tap the Video call or Voice call button to start the call.
WhatsApp users will soon be able to hide locked chats

Meta-owned WhatsApp is developing a new feature that will allow users to hide their locked chats. This feature is currently under development and is expected to be released in a future update of the app. As of now, the entry point for accessing locked chats is always visible in the chat list whenever a protected conversation exists. This means that anyone with access to the phone can potentially see that there are locked chats, even if they cannot access them.

With the new feature enabled, users will be able to hide the entry point to locked chats and reveal them by entering a secret code in the search bar.
