The WAEC result of a young Nigerian boy, Jacob Elijah Kelechi, who passed away after taking the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) exams, has sparked an outpouring of emotions on social media.

The heart-wrenching news was shared by Elijah’s elder brother, Jacob Joseph John, who posted the results on Facebook in a tribute to his late sibling.

Elijah’s impressive performance in the 2024 WAEC exams has left many both proud and deeply saddened, as he was not able to see the fruits of his hard work.

Elijah’s results, shared online, showed him having an A1 in Civic Education, B2s in General Mathematics, Agricultural Science, and Biology, as well as B3s in Chemistry, Data Processing, and Physics.

He also obtained a C4 in Economics and a C6 in English Language.
