UPDATE! NBA Begins Investigation Into Viral Video of Uyo Based Lawyer Assaulting His Wife

The Nigerian Bar Association says it has began an investigation into the viral video of a lawyer assaulting his wife in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state. In a statement released, the National Publicity Secretary of the Association, Akorede Habeeb Lawal says the lawyer has been identified as Ekere S. Ebong. He added that the President of the NBA, Yakubu Maikyau, has ordered the Uyo branch of the association to investigate the incident as a way of establishing a case of professional misconduct against the lawyer.
