Bayelsa state Government in a meeting with Transport Unions in the state have resolved that tricycle (Keke) Operators should reduce the fare rate 

The commissioner for transportation, Grace Ayakpo Ekiotenne met with members of the union on Monday.

On a letter signed by the Bayelsa commissioner, its states that tricycle operators should now charge their passengers N50 for shorts distances and N100 for longer distances.

Due to the flood issue that affected the state, Keke operations increased their fare rate and this made many Bayelsans complain.
