Gospel singer Onos Brisibi, whose iconic voice defined a generation of Nollywood classics, has passed away at the age of 55. Her family announced that she died on March 23, 2026, following a prolonged illness. Born in Delta State in 1970, Brisibi became one of Nollywood’s most sought-after soundtrack artistes, lending her vocals to iconic films such as ‘Domitilla,’ ‘Mortal Inheritance,’ ‘Blood Money,’ and ‘Deadly Passion.’ Her voice was also featured on Lagbaja’s hit track ‘Gra Gra.’ She is survived by her daughter, Sarah, her mother, her siblings, and her church family at LoveWorld Ministries.
