‘Top Dolla’ AJ Francis to challenge Nic Nemeth for TNA world title at Final Resolution

AJ Francis talks a good game, and he just talked himself into a shot at the TNA World Championship.

Nic Nemeth reflected on retaining the world title over Eddie Edwards at Turning Point. Francis and KC Navarro interrupted in the hallway. Top Dolla is having the best year of his career, and he’s also in the best shape of his life. Francis was looking to be ten pounds heavier heading into the new year, and that was a hint at taking Nemeth’s gold. Santino Marella overheard the conversation, so he used his Director of Authority power to propose a box-office bout.

Nemeth was game as a fighting champion, so the title match was official for Final Resolution on December 13.

Francis is right about having a big year in TNA. He debuted with a music video premiere. Dolla was also the Cheez-It Champion. Francis formed the First Class crew. He went on to win the TNA Digital Media Championship and purchased the International Heavyweight Wrestling Championship to become Dolla Two Belts. Francis’ size, power, and hustle make him a formidable foe for Nemeth. It should be an interesting challenge at Final Resolution.
