A Nigerian lady, Anthonia Umerah, has sparked conversations online after revealing that she regrets rejecting several marriage proposals this year.

In a post shared on her Facebook page, Anthonia disclosed that 10 different men asked for her hand in marriage in 2024, but she turned them all down because they did not meet her expectations.

According to her, most of the men who approached her lacked the financial stability she considers important for marriage.

“This year alone, I have rejected upto 10 men who want to marry me. Not because they are bad, but because they don’t have money for marriage responsibilities and the lifestyle I want to maintain. Husband is not scarce. Men who have money are not enough,” she wrote.
