Tesla FSD demo livestream today: “Watch this! Hands off, eyes on the road… wait no, eyes on the chat!”

Driver: “See? Full Self-Driving is basically magic. No hands, no problem. Chat, say hi to autonomy!”

Car: “Hold my beer… or rather, hold NOTHING.”

SLAM into curb/another car/whatever was in the way.

Chat explodes:

• “Bro said ‘trust the process’ and the process said ‘nah’”
• “FSD stands for ‘Finally Smashed Definitely’”
• “That’s not a bug, that’s a feature: content creation mode activated”

Tesla reminder in the comments: “FSD requires constant driver supervision. Please keep your hands on the wheel and eyes on the road.” Translation: “We told you it’s not ready for prime time… but thanks for the viral clip.”

No serious injuries, thank God, but the car probably needs therapy now. Lesson: If you’re gonna flex FSD on livestream, at least have a co-pilot ready to yell “HUMAN INTERVENE!!!”
