Suspected bandits k!ll village head in Niger State

Gunmen suspected to be bandits have k!lled the Sarkin Fulani of Tungan-Madugu in Babanna district of Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State. It was gathered that the attackers stormed the residence of the village head, Abu Bani-Gene, 65, in the early hours of Sunday, September 28, 2025 and macheted him to d3ath.  His body was later evacuated to the General Hospital, Babanna, where it was deposited for autopsy.  Community members said arrangements were being made for his burial according to Islamic rites.  Authorities said efforts are ongoing to track those behind the attack.  The post Suspected bandits k!ll village head in Niger State appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
