Splurge Monday’s Workwear Report: Below-Knee Dropped-Back Pleated Skirt

Our daily workwear reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices.

I’ve always loved Thom Browne’s slightly quirky, collegiate style. This skirt is a slightly more avant-garde version of my high school field hockey kilt, but I think it might work for the office if it were styled very conservatively.

I would pair this with a turtleneck, tights, and loafers for a slightly cooler version of a school uniform. 

The skirt is $1,590 at Bloomingdale’s and comes in sizes 2-10.
