Rivers: The 3 Lawmakers Supporting Fubara Were Suspended By Amaewhule And His Group -Oby Ndukwe

A Political Analyst and A Port Harcourt Based Publisher, Oby Ndukwe has alleged that the 3 lawmakers supporting Governor Sim Fubara were suspended by Martins Amaewhule and his faction the day after the assembly was vandalized.

She noted that these suspensions have persisted without any formal recall, and the assembly has not convened to address their reinstatement. She argued that the Honourable Martins Amaewhule’s group appears to be relying heavily on judicial validation to consolidate their authority as against the Pro Fubara’s lawmakers.

She said in an interview with Arise TV, ”There is something a lot of people have forgotten. The 3 lawmakers supporting Fubara were suspended by Amaewhule and his group a day after the assembly was destroyed. They were suspended and we’re never called back, no assembly sat to recall them back.

So now for a court to say that you are the Speaker and you can sit with two others. Whatever that means, as don’t know. But I think that the Amaewhule group has been waiting for the court to decide.
