Ribadu at 65: Comrade Salihu Celebrates NSA, Says Adamawa State Proud of His National Service

The National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in the Northeast, Comrade Mustapha Salihu, PhD, has felicitated with the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, on his sixty-fifth birthday, describing the former anti-corruption czar as a consistent patriot whose dedication to national stability has earned him admiration across the country.

In a statement issued on Friday, Comrade Salihu said the people of Adamawa State and the entire APC family in the Northeast are proud of Ribadu’s trajectory as a public servant who has demonstrated exceptional discipline, integrity and courage in the defence of Nigeria. He said Ribadu’s work in security governance reflects a lifetime of commitment to strengthening national institutions and safeguarding citizens.

According to the APC leader, Ribadu has remained a shining example of transparent leadership and principled service since his early days in public office.

He noted that the NSA continues to discharge his duties with clarity of purpose and an unwavering sense of responsibility that has helped to reinforce public trust in the nation’s security architecture.

Dr. Salihu also acknowledged Ribadu’s contributions to party cohesion, particularly in Adamawa APC, where he has played a stabilising role in resolving internal disagreements and promoting reconciliation among stakeholders. He said the NSA’s calm temperament, sincerity of purpose and willingness to listen have been instrumental in restoring confidence within the party in the state.

The APC chieftain stressed that Ribadu’s achievements remain a source of honour to the Northeast geopolitical zone. He said the region recognises his selfless efforts and is encouraged by the fact that he continues to represent the values of discipline, patriotism and responsible leadership associated with the people of Adamawa.

While commending Ribadu’s ongoing work in coordinating national security, Comrade Salihu urged him not to be distracted by those who attempt to politicise or misrepresent sensitive security operations. He said distractions are inevitable for individuals occupying high public offices, but what matters is the strength of conviction and the focus required to continue serving the nation with dignity.

He added that the NSA has consistently shown resilience in the face of criticism and has remained committed to ensuring that Nigeria’s security institutions operate with professionalism and dedication to the public good.

The APC National Vice Chairman prayed for God’s continued protection over Ribadu and wished him long life, renewed strength and greater wisdom as he continues to serve the country at the highest levels of national responsibility.
