NSCDC officer k!lled, daughter abducted as bandits attack Kogi community

Bandits have attacked Odo-Ere, the headquarters of Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State, k!lling a personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and abducting his daughter. The gunmen attacked the community on Monday evening, June 8, 2026. According to sources, the victim, identified as Mr. Ayo, was shot in the head during the attack. Mr. Ayo was reportedly rushed to a medical facility but was declared d3ad on arrival.  His remains have since been deposited in a mortuary.  The attackers reportedly abducted his first daughter before fleeing the community.   The post NSCDC officer k!lled, daughter abducted as bandits attack Kogi community appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
