Nigerian Woman Killed By Hungry Dogs In Italy

A Nigerian woman, Patricia Masithela, has died after being attacked by a pack of hungry dogs in Latina, Italy.

The incident, as disclosed by UK Mirror, occurred on Monday night when Masithela visited a male acquaintance’s abandoned villa in the Lazio region.

According to reports, Masithela was unaware that her friend was not at home and was mauled to death by the dogs.

Her screams alerted neighbours, who called the police. The police intervened, shooting two of the dogs to allow emergency responders to access the scene.

Masithela was rushed to Santa Maria Goretti Hospital, but she succumbed to her severe injuries and blood loss.

The 27-year-old woman was a mother to a five-year-old daughter and her death has left her family and friends in grief.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing, with local authorities working to determine how the starving dogs came to be in the area.
