My Cousin Doesn’t Have A Man Because Of Her Drooling Problem

I am sharing this story after I had a heart-to-heart conversation with my cousin. I knew she had issues but I didn’t know how badly it affected her social life until she opened up to me about it. “I don’t even have a man in my life at my age because of this thing,” she lamented.

I can understand how hard it must be for a man to be with a woman who drools. Yes, I know everyone drools and it’s a natural happening of the human body. However, I am not talking about the cute and adorable kind babies even do. My cousin drools heavily whenever she sleeps. Morning, afternoon, or night.

It soaks her pillow to the point where it leaves patterns like a map. And it leaves an unpleasant smell wherever she sleeps. It doesn’t help matters that she has severe mouth odour.

Because of this, she avoids talking to people. She has no friends and doesn’t attend public events. On the few occasions that she has no choice but to attend a social gathering, she won’t speak until the programme ends and she leaves.

Is There A Perfect One Out There For Everyone?

She told me, “Sis, I have roamed everywhere with this problem.” I have gone to hospitals and seen specialists but nothing came of it.” When I suggested herbal remedies, she said she had tried different herbal medicines but none yielded results. “I have even consulted spiritualists. Erm… I saw a mallam. When his concoctions didn’t work, I went to see a fetish priest. He also gave me directions and concoctions but here we are. All these people took my money but my situation hasn’t changed.”

She is almost thirty but doesn’t have a man in her life because of this issue. The few men who come into her life leave when she tells them about it. Those who discover it on their own still leave.
