Mercedes Moné to defend ROH TV title in rematch at Final Battle PPV

With so many belts in hand, Ultimo Moné has comers at all angles. Next up for Mercedes is a title defense at the Ring of Honor Final Battle PPV.

Mercedes Moné recently unified her interim championship by beating Red Velvet to win the ROH Women’s World Television Championship. The former champ wants her rematch, so ROH is running it back.

After sarcastic praise for Mercedes and Kris Statlander, Velvet got to the point. She explained how her tape study showed an opening that Mercedes capitalized on. Since Mercedes is a fighting champion, Velvet called her out to actually show up on ROH for Final Battle on December 5.

Looking back at the highlights, Mercedes was able to take control on the turnbuckles for an avalanche lung blower to win. We’ll see what new tricks Velvet brings to make sure the same doesn’t happen again.
