Love Island star Lochan Nowacki claims ‘chemistry’ with female influencer is behind Whitney’s bombshell ‘racism’ claims

LOVE Island star Lochan Nowacki has revealed what he believes is the ‘real reason’ behind ex Whitney Adebayo’s ‘racism’ claims.

The pair met on the ITV2 dating show in 2023, ultimately placing as runners-up.

The Sun revealed this week how Lochan, 27, is taking Whitney to court after she publicly claimed he referred to her skin as “dirty” during their relationship. 

In a new TikTok, the former Love Island boy broke down the timeline of events surrounding the situation.

Lochan recalled how he and Whitney publicly announced their break-up on April 18, 2025.

Then on July 23, Lochan collaborated on a video with Too Hot To Handle‘s Brianna Balram.

He added: “One day later, Whitney makes a dig at this collab on Snapchat, saying ‘using another sister for clickbait‘.

“One week later on the 31st of July in a podcast, the female collab guest expressed we had good chemistry.

“One day later on the 1st of August, Whitney posted a TikTok insinuating I called her skin dirty regularly.

“A day later on the 2nd of August, she confirmed this post was about me.”

Lochan continued: “There is no mention of racial accusation towards me over a three-month period, post break-up.

“But as soon as I collaborate with a female, negative false comments start being made about me, my family and my friends.”

After it was revealed that Lochan is taking Whitney to court, she took to social media to double down on her claims – and even accused his mum of making racial comments. 

In a video watched over 3.5 million times, she claimed his mum joked “where’s Whit gone?” when the lights went out – before adding: “Whit, smile.”

Lochan has now instructed the same lawyers who represented David Walliams in his legal dispute with Britain’s Got Talent.

The case – dubbed ‘Love Island‘s Wagatha Christie’ – is expected to get underway in the coming weeks.

A source said: “There have been repeated attempts to step back from the abyss.

Her luck changed in Week 5, when Windsor-born Lochan entered Cara Amor on Day 26. On Day 31, Whitney chose to couple up with Lochan.

The show favourites lost out on the winning spot to Jess Harding, 23, and Sammy Root, 23 on the show finale on Day 58.

She recently told how the pair were planning to move in together.

Yet in July 2024, eyebrows were raised after the pair unfollowed each other on social media then attended an event together – leaving some fans calling out a “publicity stunt.”

“Whitney was given the opportunity to apologise publicly for her remarks, but she doubled down instead.

“Lochan wants the world to know he is taking action against her.

“Half the people out there still think he’s a racist because of what she’s said about him.

“It’s just not right and it has to be corrected. He would rather avoid court, but there doesn’t appear to be any alternative.”
