Lecturer Found Dead at Second Wife Home, Stepson Arrested in Connection to Murder

Authorities in Nairobi, Kenya, are investigating the death of Allan Kitavi, a respected lecturer and chairman of the Komarock Residents Association Board of Trustees.

According to reports, Kitavi was found dead at the driveway of his second wife’s home in Thome Estate. Police have since arrested his stepson, who is being treated as the main suspect in the case.

“A young university boy reported at Marurui Police Station and it is like the neighbours have activated their alarms because when they heard screams they all came out,” said Dorothy Kitavi, his first wife.

In the cctv footage rleased online, it showed the moment two men were seen strolling around in allan house at around 7:30pm and around 8:00pm Allan was seen strolling out of his house not knowing about the inccident that was about happening.

Kitavi was found dead at the driveway of his second wife’s home in Thome Estate. CCTV footage from the residence reportedly captured two suspects leaving the scene — the first around 8:40 p.m., followed by the second at approximately 8:41 p.m. Authorities say the recordings played a crucial role in identifying and apprehending Kitavi’s stepson as a prime suspect.
