Italian Model and TV Star Pamela Genini Found Dead After Boyfriend Stabbed her 24 times

Popular Italian model and television star Pamela Genini has been found dead after being stabbed 24 times by her boyfriend, Gianluca Soncin, on Tuesday night, in what police have described as a brutal case of femicide.

According to reports, neighbors heard Pamela screaming for help and immediately called the police. Officers were directed to her apartment on the top floor of the building.

When police arrived, they forced their way inside and found Soncin attacking Genini. They managed to stop him, but Pamela had already sustained fatal injuries.

Authorities said Soncin then attempted suicide by cutting his neck twice, but officers quickly intervened. He was rushed to Milan’s Niguarda Hospital in critical condition, where he remains under police guard.

Investigators confirmed that Gianluca Soncin, 52, has been charged with aggravated murder, including elements of stalking, premeditation, and femicide.

One of Pamela’s neighbors told reporters they heard her shouting, “Help! Help!” before the attack ended. Friends also revealed that the couple’s relationship had been troubled for months, and Genini had planned to leave him.

Before her death, Pamela Genini was celebrated for her work as a high-fashion model, her appearance on the Italian reality dating show “The Island of Adam and Eve,” and as co-founder of the SheLux swimwear brand and a luxury real estate business.

Soncin, who had been dating Genini for about a year, was previously arrested in 2010 in connection with an alleged luxury car fraud scheme and tax evasion case. It remains unclear whether he was ever convicted in that matter.
