Paul Pogba has dismissed speculation about retirement despite facing a four-year ban for doping.

The 31-year-old has been sidelined since August 2023 and has taken his case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in hopes of reducing the suspension to two years.

Earlier this year, the Frenchman was suspended after testing positive for doping on both the A and B samples.

“I want to fight against this injustice. There was an interview that came out, I’m not sure if you’ve seen it all, where they quoted me partially,” Pogba told Sky Italia.

“Pogba is not finished, I’m here and until you hear me say that I’m done, there’s no need to worry. I have an immense desire to return; I feel like a child who dreams of being a professional. I train hard, doing everything possible to get back on the field.”

He continued:

“As of now, I’m still a Juventus player; I have a contract. However, I haven’t had the chance to speak with the director or the coach… it’s silent. I think they’re waiting for the appeal’s outcome, but that’s a question for them.”
