Big Daddy Sugar Declares for Lagelu Assembly Seat, Promises People-Oriented Representation
Mogaji Honorable Olajide Olatoye, popularly known as Big Daddy Sugar, has formally declared his intention to contest for a seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly, representing Lagelu Constituency, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The declaration, which took place at the PDP Local Government Secretariat, attracted a large gathering of party faithfuls, stakeholders, and supporters who turned out in solidarity.

Big Daddy Sugar’s arrival at the venue was met with excitement and jubilation, as drummers welcomed him with energetic beats while party women extolled his virtues through songs and chants, celebrating what they described as his lovable personality and dedication to the people.

Speaking during the meeting with party leaders and members, the aspirant highlighted several challenges confronting the Lagelu Constituency, pledging to address them if elected. He assured the people of effective and people-oriented representation, emphasizing his commitment to sponsoring impactful bills that would improve the standard of living across the constituency.

Big Daddy Sugar further reaffirmed his dedication to the growth and development of Lagelu, promising to prioritize the welfare of the people and ensure their voices are adequately represented in the state legislature.

Big Daddy Sugar, after the meeting, expressed deep appreciation to all party leaders present for their guidance and wisdom. He specifically acknowledged the party leader, Chief Oribayo Okeyode, for his steadfast leadership and direction in managing the affairs of the party. He also commended the Vice-Leader, Hon. Kehinde Fabunmi, popularly known as Kenfab, for his continued support and contributions.

He further extended his gratitude to the Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, whom he described as a “SMALL BUT BIG ENGINE” due to his impactful performance.
