"He Just Wants Free FuK"- Moroccan Woman Sets Boyfriend's House Ablaze In Lagos (Video)

A shocking incident unfolded in Oregun, Ikeja, as authorities from the Lagos State Police Command arrested a 21-year-old Moroccan woman, identified only as Asmaa, for allegedly setting fire to the residence of her 41-year-old Chinese boyfriend, Xunxue, on Saturday, March 30.

The police swiftly responded to distress calls after flames engulfed the building, situated within an estate in the area. Initial investigations suggest that Asmaa and Xunxue had a heated altercation, leading to Asmaa purportedly igniting the blaze while her boyfriend and two others were still inside the premises.

In a compelling twist to the story, Asmaa, during interrogation, unveiled a distressing narrative of her time with Xunxue in Nigeria. She claimed to have been brought to the country by Xunxue and allegedly confined to his residence for a staggering six months. According to her account, Xunxue restricted her from seeking employment or engaging in any income-generating activities, solely desiring her companionship for his gratification.

"He used me for six months and doesn’t want to do any visa for me. He doesn’t want me to work or do anything that can get me money. He just wants me to sit at home. If I tell him to buy me a ticket, he would say no. He just wants me to sit at home, f¥ck free for six months. Sit at home and wait for him to come back from work," expressed a disillusioned Asmaa.

Asmaa revealed that her desperate act of arson stemmed from profound frustration and a desire to end her life, allegedly catalyzed by Xunxue's oppressive behavior.

Fortunately, no fatalities occurred during the incident. Presently, Asmaa is detained by law enforcement, alongside other individuals involved in the incident, as the police continue their inquiries into the matter. The case underscores broader societal issues and raises questions about the dynamics of relationships and the importance of mental health awareness.
