Popular Nigerian content creator and EndSARS activist, Debo Adebowale, popularly known as Mr. Macaroni, has declared that the October 20, 2020 Lekki Toll Gate killings can never be forgiven.

He made this known in a post on X on Monday, marking the fifth anniversary of the EndSARS memorial.

Reflecting on his experience during the protest, Mr. Macaroni condemned the Nigerian leadership, insisting that those responsible for the killing of unarmed protesters by the military would never be forgiven.

He stated, “Nigerian youths lost their lives, jobs, families, and dreams at the hands of the most corrupt and evil people we call leaders! Even though my people are now in love with their oppressors, this day, 20/10/2020, is never to be forgotten nor forgiven!”

The EndSARS protest, which began in October 2020, saw Nigerian youths across the country demanding the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), a police unit notorious for brutality and human rights abuses.
