“Do Not Try To Impress Others And Depress Yourself” — Didi-Omah Augustine Chinazaekpere Tells Youths

Do not try to impress others and depress yourself. Don't try to be a public figure in the society, and a private damage in your closet. Do not try to be a celebrity, and inwardly you are a down-brity. Executive, the society claps hands for you — as celebrity; but in the real sense to yourself — you a down, like I called it, down-brity. Sometimes I do jokely say, yeyebrity!

Youth are buying latest cars, and you are talking it. If you want yours, go and get one for yourself. I cannot be a tennant, living in someone's house and driving car about. I told myself that, except Adonay told me to get a car — based on His agenda for my life. Then I will get one, because when God tells me to get a car, it's time for you to have a car. I will prayerfully ask Him to get me the car.

Because when God told me to get a job, I asked Him to get me the job — and He did rightly. I have my life to live. I am never in a competition with anyone, never! I had my own plan about my life; and Adonay told me, “Didi-Omah, I have my plan for you. Your plan will take you nowhere. But in my plan, I have your welfare and future covered”. Executive, I intentionally subscribed to God's plan for my life.

I don't have taste for what is not my level. I don't have eyes for what is not mine. I have my own possessions, I have my life to live. What is not in my class, I have no desire for it. Do not try to impress others and depress yourself. Don't try to be a public figure in the society, and a private damage in your closet. Do not try to be a celebrity, and inwardly you are a down-brity. Executive, the society claps hands for you — as celebrity; but in the real sense to yourself — you a down, like I called it, down-brity. Sometimes I do jokely say, yeyebrity!

At 23 years old, my mates are renting their own apartment — I stayed with my parents, because God have not given me the permission to get out! And doacWeb grew more and productive at that era. You have to understand your season, or else you missed out forever. Ask for divine direction — when you get God's direction, you end wasted efforts.

Executive, what you cannot afford, don't price it. What you cannot afford, do not price it. I cannot afford poverty, so I don't know it price. I can't afford sickness, so I don't know where they sell it. I only subscribe to what I can afford. I can be wealthy, I can be successful, I can be great — and I subscribe to what these demands rightly. 

Be careful and watchful. Today you may be walking long distance to somewhere. And you have a clear direction of what you are doing, in the process of time, you will be flying around. It is possible, if you are suffering, pray to God. If you are suffering, Executive, pray to God. Be yourself, life is a beautiful journey, so wonderful adventure — when you are walking with God in the journey of life.

Be patient, everything have time. There is time and season to everything under the sun — according to the Holy Scriptures. So you must exercise patience, you must walk with God in obedience and by faith — and when you do; you will never regret it. You will be far better than those, who you thought they are ahead of you. I am coming, yes, you are coming. And definitely you will, little by little, you will get to the top.
