Delta Air Lines has been named to TIME’s America’s Best Companies of 2026, ranking No. 98 overall and emerging as the only commercial airline among the top 100 companies on the prestigious list.

The recognition highlights Delta’s people-first culture and its focus on employee satisfaction, financial performance and sustainability.

TIME partnered with Statista to evaluate 1,000 companies across the three key areas, with Delta’s top-100 placement reflecting the airline’s performance across both its workforce and broader business operations.

For Delta, the latest recognition adds to a growing list of accolades acknowledging its workplace culture and customer experience.

The airline was also featured on TIME’s World’s Best Companies list in 2025, ranking No. 148 globally and earning the distinction of being the highest-ranked U.S. commercial airline on that list.

Delta has received several other notable recognitions in recent months. The airline was named one of Glassdoor’s Top 100 Best Places to Work for 2026 and ranked No. 9 on Fortune’s Best Companies to Work For list. It was also recognised among Fortune’s Best Workplaces for Women.

In the aviation sector, The Points Guy named Delta the No. 1 U.S. airline for the eighth consecutive year, further reinforcing the carrier’s standing among American airlines.

The latest TIME ranking is being positioned by Delta as a reflection of the commitment of its employees, whose work supports the airline’s operations and customer experience across its global network.
