  • Carpoint expands Redust lineup with rugged and sporty kits for Dacia Bigster.
  • Redust Offroad adds roof rack, vented hood, side steps, and all-terrain wheels.
  • Sport package includes 20-inch alloys, coilovers, black trim, and fake scoop.

Dacia’s best-selling crossover, the Duster, was recently been joined by a bigger and more accommodating sibling, the Bigster. German dealer Carpoint, already known for its Duster-based projects, spotted the opportunity and introduced tuning packages for the Bigster, giving buyers the option of either a rugged off-road style or a sportier road-focused look.

The new options fall under the Redust line, following the formula already applied to the Duster. The two SUVs share plenty of design DNA, although the Bigster stretches out with a redesigned front bumper, an extended wheelbase, and a longer rear overhang.

Off-Road and Sporty Additions

Arguably the most eye-catching kit is the Redust Offroad, which builds on the Bigster’s adventurous character. This setup adds an aluminum roof rack with integrated LEDs, a vented hood, side steps, window decals, and a fresh set of 16-inch alloy wheels wrapped in chunkier all-terrain tires (235/65R16). A bull bar, available on the Duster, is absent here, though buyers can go a step further with an optional suspension lift kit to boost ground clearance.

The Redust Sport takes the opposite direction, being more focused on the road. The highlight is a set of 20-inch alloy wheels with a multi-spoke design and low-profile tires. These can be matched with a coilover suspension for a lower stance and sharper handling. Other touches include a hood scoop, purely decorative in this case, and a glossy black finish for the cladding, which ties in with the grille and roof.

The Redust packages are focused purely on styling and suspension, with no performance upgrades included. They can be paired with any of the powertrains available for the Bigster, such as the new self-charging hybrid system delivering 152 hp (113 kW / 154 PS) along with all-wheel-drive capability.

Carpoint currently lists a Dacia Bigster Extreme TCE 130 4×4 with the Redust Offroad kit at €36,290 ($42,700). This example features the entry-level mild-hybrid 1.2-liter engine producing 129 hp (96 kW / 130 PS), sending power to all four wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox.

Pick-And-Mix Options

For existing owners of the Bigster that want to upgrade it with individual components, the roof rack costs €999 ($1,200), the aluminum running boards are priced at €799 ($940), and the hood scoop is listed for €749 ($880). Finally, the 16-inch alloy wheels will set you back another €1,699 ($2,000), with the sporty 20-inch wheels being more expensive at €1,999 ($2,400).
