“Christian Genocide Must End In Nigeria” – US Lawmaker, Riley Moore Insists

US Congressman, Rep Riley Moore, has said that genocide of Christians must end in Nigeria.

In a statement posted on his verified X handle on Monday, Moore said the responsibility of ending the menace falls on Nigeria and her citizens.

The lawmaker was reacting to last week’s abduction of a Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Nathaniel Asuwaye of Holy Trinity Parish in Kaduna.

Gistmania reports that suspected bandits killed three people and abducted a Catholic priest along with 10 others during a fresh attack in Kaduna State.

Reacting to the development, Rep Moore said, “Please join me in praying for the safe return of Rev. Fr. Nathaniel Asuwaye of Holy Trinity Parish in Kaduna who was kidnapped alongside 10 others.

“Three of his parishioners were brutally murdered by radical Islamic jihadists during the attack. The last week has been some of the most horrifically bloody days in recent history for Christians across Nigeria.

“The genocide of Christians must end, and it falls squarely on the Nigerian government’s shoulders to defend its citizens – all of its citizens – and end this violent persecution. Please keep praying for our brothers and sisters in Christ.”
