Chance The Rapper settles divorce from Kirsten Corley

Chance the Rapper and his estranged spouse, Kirsten Corley, have successfully concluded their divorce nearly nine months subsequent to their initial announcement of separation.

The acclaimed rapper, known for his hit “I’m The One,” and his former wife submitted legal documentation in Cook County, Illinois, affirming that they have reached a mutual agreement to finalize their dissolution of marriage, as reported by TMZ.

According to documents acquired by the outlet, Kirsten asserts that the relationship between the former couple is now “irretrievably broken.”

Furthermore, she indicates that they have been residing separately for over six months.

The former model remarked that she had thoroughly reviewed the settlement and deemed it a “fair and equitable resolution.” Specific details have not been disclosed to the public.

The couple exchanged vows in 2019 in Newport Beach, California, and they are the parents of two daughters, Kensli, aged nine, and Marli, aged five.

At the time of their separation, Chance The Rapper, whose legal name is Chancelor Bennett, and Corley expressed their intention to prioritize co-parenting.

The former couple knew each other as children and reconnected in 2012 at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas. They began dating soon after and became engaged in 2018.
