Adamawa swears in 10 newly appointed permanent secretaries

Ten newly appointed permanent secretaries in the Adamawa State civil service have been inaugurated.

The state governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, supervised the swearing-in of the new top civil servants on Tuesday, charging them to uphold integrity and dedication in the discharge of their duties.

The new permanent secretaries had their oaths of office and allegiance administered by the state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Afraimu Jingi.

Speaking on the appointments, Governor Fintiri said the appointees merited their new roles.

He, however, reminded them that the position of permanent secretary carries enormous responsibility, as they are expected to strengthen governance effectively and improve service delivery.

Responding on behalf of himself and his colleagues, one of the new appointees, Albert Ray, pledged their collective commitment to professionalism and strict adherence to their oaths of office.

The other permanent secretaries sworn in are Purity Timothy, Hamidu Njidda, Hauwa Banu, Yusuf Peter, Abdul-Azeen Buba, Regina Njidda, Abdullahi Shuaibu, Soyi Daniel and Paulina Yusuf.
