Abide In Your Field To Be Great Indeed — Didi-Omah Augustine Chinazaekpere

I leave politics to politicians. Leave church business to those the mantle is given. You can never see me carry a box, and asking the public to vote for me — as what? Local government chairman, state governor, country's president, or member of the parliament. No! Executive.

No! Executive.

Why? Because that is not my field, I have left that place. I have never seen an active president contesting for a presidential position, except given to him by appointment. It has happened in my life and keep happening.

Have I campaigned before? Yes, and succeeded at Federal Polytechnic Ekowe, Bayelsa State. I first campaigned for 'Emmanuel Young' as SUG President during my ND program at the polytechnic. I was even attacked at the day, within the time of the election. Thanks to God, I am alive and my flag bearer won.

The second was for 'Faith Ikpi' as SUG President during my final year at the polytechnic, in my HND program. I pressed on electronic voting, my proposal won. So the SUG election was online, I and the school ICT team worked on building the e-voting portal for the election. And they are using it till date. I believe they will be updating the website and making some possible changes, that's all.

Yes! Faith Ikpi won. I never became the NACOS FPE chapter president and Department of Computer Science president — by dragging votes, and parading around. It is not my job or duty. I am never a politician; I am a business man, an Industrialist, an investor and a Christian. Yes, I was once the president of NACOS FPE Chapter and Department of Computer Science, all at Federal Polytechnic Ekowe, Bayelsa State, Nigeria.

I am active in the office of the president, at doacInvest.org. Executive. I am the president of doacInvest.org — so why should I be eyeing a political position in other areas, going into contesting in elections. Most people don't abide in their calling, they don't stay and make impacts in their field of play.

God told me through the Holy Scriptures, to abide in my field and serve him completely — love God and keep his commandments. Which is, walking with God in obedience and by faith. Executive. So why should I leave my field and venture into another, just because an error is occurring or my expectations from the area is not working out! That is a sign of lack of commitment, and greed for control.

A leader is not by title nor by position; leadership is NOT age. It’s not titles. It’s not “one day when I grow up.”

Leadership is the daily choices you make when no one is clapping. And if you want to rise, if you want to stand out in a noisy generation where everyone is copying everyone, these habits will separate you like light from darkness. I am a businessman, industrialist, investor, and a Christian.

I should advise the one in command, work with the government in power, assist the people in authority — to make things right, empower people and bring changes into the systems. Not fighting, attacking and dragging people on my side — for what exactly. I am a born leader, and by God's grace and mercy I have trained myself to be a transformational leader indeed. When I lead, transformation takes the order! And people confirmed it!

Go and confirm at Federal Polytechnic Ekowe, my footsteps is there — go and confirm at doac, Invest. Executive. Abide in your field to be great indeed. You can still lead people without being a politician, you can be in authority without holding political positions, you can still make changes in the society without exercising political powers, you can still make impacts without dragging people to your side.

I must not be a pastor, to teach the Holy Scriptures and perform miracles. I must not be a politician, to lead my people and make national developments. I can do all these in my field without moving about — including you. Just focus on your field of play, and be a leader there — transformational leader that empowers people to be above. Abide in your field to be great indeed. Executive.
