A 24-year-old woman identified as Jennyfer Elizabeth Reyes Castro has tragically died after reportedly suffering severe complications following a cosmetic surgery procedure in Nicaragua.

According to reports, Jennyfer passed away in the intensive care unit on May 27 after undergoing a liposuction operation that allegedly resulted in critical medical complications, including a punctured lung.

It was gathered that she had paid approximately £2,610 for the cosmetic procedure, which reportedly included liposuction on her back and lumbosacral region, as well as fat transfer to the buttocks.

Jennyfer reportedly travelled to Clínica Amate in Managua after contacting the clinic through its Instagram page.

Her husband, Kevin Molinares, alleged that the surgery was performed by Dr. Livang Clifford Argüello Molina, while Dr. Karla Ramos reportedly authorized the operation and provided medical documentation and seals.

Reports further claimed that Jennyfer was discharged from the clinic on the same day as the procedure.

However, shortly after returning home, she allegedly began experiencing severe back pain, breathing difficulties, and blurred vision.

She was later rushed to a hospital in Matagalpa, where she was admitted to the intensive care unit and placed on life support.

Medical reports reportedly revealed several serious complications, including a punctured lung, blood accumulation in the chest cavity, severe bloodstream infection, fat embolism, and other critical conditions.

Following her death, her husband filed a police complaint against the surgeon and publicly shared medical documents and evidence related to the case.

The incident has attracted further attention after reports emerged that Dr. Argüello had recently been found guilty by a Managua court in a separate liposuction case involving another patient identified as Jhulianov Carolina Samayoa Morales.

Prosecutors in that case reportedly requested a three-year prison sentence as well as the suspension of his medical licence.

Following the latest allegations, the surgeon reportedly changed his legal representation to lawyer Gabriel Díaz, who has filed a request seeking to nullify the earlier conviction.

Authorities have not yet released an official statement regarding the ongoing investigation into Jennyfer’s death.

Her wakekeep was held at the La Esperanza Funeral Home in Matagalpa.

Jennyfer is survived by her husband and their young daughter.
