19 year old reckless driver crushes multiple police officers in Benin (VIDEO)

A 19-year-old man, Nsikak Okon, has been arrested after a reckless driving incident in Benin City, Edo State, in which several vehicles were damaged and police officers knocked down.

The incident, which was captured in a viral video seen by Dockaysworld, showed a Mercedes-Benz ramming into multiple cars as the driver attempted to evade security operatives.

According to police spokesman, CSP Ben Hundeyin, the suspect was driving a fully tinted vehicle without number plates when he encountered police officers on patrol and sped past them in a dangerous manner.

Hundeyin said the driver later returned at high speed, nearly hitting an officer, before making another deliberate pass that resulted in three officers being knocked down.

“Two of them have been discharged, while one other is still in hospital,” he stated.

Despite the incident, the driver reportedly continued fleeing, damaging other vehicles along the way before he was eventually apprehended.

A search of the vehicle after the arrest revealed substances suspected to be hard drugs, the police said.
