WWE unveils new Evolve championships

The company’s newest titles will be awarded via upcoming 4way matches on the company’s newest show.

WWE Evolve “Prime Minister” Stevie Turner recently got into the big announcement business, promising her one for the brand’s May 7 episode on Tubi.

As many predicted, Turner unveiled the rumored Evolve Men’s and Women’s championship belts on tonight’s Evolve.

The first holders of both will be decided in upcoming 4Way matches. Wendy Choo, Kali Armstrong & Kendal Grey are already in the Women’s Evolve championship match, set for May 28. Sean Legacy is the only name set so far for the Men’s Evolve title, with that match happening on June 4.

Evolve’s new belts are distinct from the recently announced WWE ID titles, even though several Evolve regulars are part of the ID program. WWE’s been emphasizing how Evolve is the gateway to NXT (which is the gateway to the main roster), so we expect winning an Evolve title means you’re headed to the Tuesday night show... but we’ll wait until we have champs until we worry too much about that.
