Woman arraigned for allegedly stealing her boyfriend's N200,000 in Kaduna

A 27-year-old woman, Felicia John, has been arraigned in a Kaduna State magistrates court for allegedly stealing N200,000 belonging to her boyfriend, NAN reports. The prosecutor, Insp Chidi Leo, told the court that one Michael Elisha of Sabon Tasha, Kaduna, reported the defendant.  Leo said that the complainant, who was the defendants boyfriend, alleged that the woman stole N200,000 belonging to him.According to the prosecutor, Elisha said the woman used his phone to transfer the money into her account while he went to take bath. He added that the defendant was later arrested after a month of her disappearance. The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge. The Magistrate, Ibrahim Emmanuel, admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N100, 000 with one surety in like sum and adjourned the case to December 6, 2023.    The post Woman arraigned for allegedly stealing her boyfriend's N200,000 in Kaduna appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
